About NSS
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a centrally sponsored initiative by the Government of India, overseen by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It offers students from technical institutions, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs at colleges and universities across India, a platform to engage in various community service activities and initiatives. About Program
The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University, Junagadh, functions under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. This initiative is a voluntary and value-driven program that encourages students to actively participate in community service and social development. With the guiding motto – “NOT ME BUT YOU,” NSS aims to instill a sense of responsibility, leadership, and selfless service among the youth, fostering their overall growth while contributing to societal welfare.
